Framed: A Portrait Event with Purpose

Framed is an intimate, invite-only portrait photography event created in collaboration with renowned photographer Sameer Belvalkar. Conceived as a fundraiser for Wag a bond Charitable Trust, the event brings together art, storytelling, and compassion — with 100% of the proceeds supporting our work for animals in need.

The most recent edition of Framed was held on Saturday, 27th and Sunday, 28th December 2025, over two thoughtfully curated days. Participants registered in advance and were invited for private portrait sessions, allowing each individual and family to experience the process at their own pace.

At the heart of Framed is the belief that photographs are more than images — they are moments preserved with intention. Each session was designed to be personal, unhurried, and deeply reflective, resulting in portraits that feel both timeless and authentic.

About the Photographer

Sameer Belvalkar is a distinguished name in the world of visual storytelling, with a career that spans film, advertising, fashion, and portrait photography. Known for his refined aesthetic and emotional sensitivity, his work goes beyond visual appeal to capture presence, character, and quiet moments that often go unnoticed.

Over the years, Sameer has collaborated with a wide range of brands, artists, and storytellers, bringing a cinematic depth and authenticity to every frame. His approach to portraiture is deeply human — focused not on posing, but on creating a space where subjects feel seen and at ease.

A TEDx speaker and a respected voice in the photography community, Sameer is also known for mentoring and inspiring emerging photographers. His association with Framed adds a layer of intention and meaning to the event, turning each portrait into not just an image, but a contribution toward compassion and change.

Giving Through Art

The photography session was priced at ₹5,000 per person, with the option to contribute more as a direct donation to Wag a bond Charitable Trust. As a gesture of appreciation, every participant received:

• Four curated digital portraits

• One framed fine art print (6 × 8 inches)

More importantly, every session directly supported our ongoing efforts to rescue, rehabilitate, and care for animals who deserve dignity, safety, and a chance at belonging.
