Mylo

”Mylo was adopted by one of my neighbours. They wanted a dog and I told them to adopt one instead of buying. I searched many dogs for her and showed many pictures. Finally, she selected Mylo and went to bring him in. On the same night, she called me up saying that her husband didn’t want Mylo since it was a stray dog and it would be dangerous for their daughter if they kept him. I was stunned. 12 o clock in the night I went to her place and she said that one of her friends also advised her that with kids they should always keep pure breed dogs and it was only wise if she returned him. Additionally, one of her family vets also had advised her to keep a pure breed with a kid. I was amazed by all the bizarre comments I heard that day. So I decided to take Mylo home and start thinking about what I should be doing next. My husband took me to Poonam’s place, the person from whom she adopted him to return the dog. We went to her place and as soon as I came to know that this was for the 10th time that he was coming back, I decided that I would adopt him. Though it was not the right time to have a dog since my mother in law was going through her last stage of mouth cancer, I somehow convinced my husband that I would like to foster Mylo for few days (which was actually a plan) and he agreed. Within a few days, I managed to convince my husband to adopt him permanently. Following that my family and my in-laws started convincing me why I shouldn’t have a dog right now (since we were newlyweds) but my husband supported me and we managed to convince everyone with great difficulty And today, we have Mylo!
He is my Jaan. A fantastic dog. Even better than my pedigree ones. Very intelligent and he speaks with his eyes or you can say I can read his eyes. Wherever we go they will go with us. They care for me a lot and also they r my antidepressants.”
